Event or Problem Description
On (b)(6) 2026, a patient underwent a kidney biopsy procedure using the maxcore instrument.During the procedure, a new biopsy needle was used; however, the same issue allegedly occurred, with the needle opening prior to exiting the patient's body, resulting in loss of the collected tissue sample.There was no reported patient injury.
