Boston scientific received information that the clinician was unable to complete an interrogation of the implantable cardioverter defibrillator (icd) even after multiple troubleshooting attempts.Although they could see pacing spikes there were no tones with magnet placement.Boston scientific technical services (ts) recommended the device be replaced.The field representative has been unable to obtain any further information.To date the available evidence suggests that the icd remains in service.No adverse patient effects were reported.
