The returned product was assessed for functionality and met functional specifications.Additional testing supports that the misplacement of a battery can cause battery leakage.
 
Event Description
Customer contacted ameda, inc.On (b)(6) 2016 to report new batteries exploded inside the battery compartment of her purely yours breast pump during usage.The customer states she made no contact with the leaking black fluid from the pump base.Mom was not injured or burned and no property damage occurred in this event.
