Event Description
Information was received from a consumer regarding a patient who was implanted with a neurostimulator for spinal pain and failed back surgery syndrome.It was reported that there was a broken belt and they have been taping the belt to hold the implantable neurostimulator recharger (insr) antenna.There was a loss of therapy and a loss of stimulation.The patient has their stimulation pegged all the way and is not feeling stimulation.The patient was not feeling good and made an appointment with a manufacturer representative regarding their loss of stimulation.The ins charge was not lasting as long, stating that they charge every two days versus every week as before.
