The customer reported via phone call of hospitalization for high blood glucose of over 600 mg/dl.The customer had symptoms such as too much scar tissue and treated with shots.Customer indicated that the pump alarmed no delivery and motor error.Troubleshooting found that the customer was able to prime the pump and the pump passed the displacement test.The motor alarm did not reoccur after the test.Customer was advised on proper insertion, taping and site techniques and to not insert the cannula in places of scar tissue or hardened skin.Customer was also advised to change the infusion set, reservoir and insulin and to treat per healthcare professional's recommendation.The customer did not have a tubing clamp and was advised to call back when it was received for further troubleshooting.
