Event Description
Dexcom was made aware on (b)(6) 2017 that on (b)(6) 2017, the patient experienced a seizure.Patient's mother took a blood glucose (bg) reading and it was 110 mg/dl.Patient's father, an off-duty emergency medical technician (emt) stated that the bg reading was higher due to the body's adrenaline.Patient's father treated patient with a glucagon shot.Patient's mother stated that at the time of event, patient was taking a break from the dexcom system.At the time of contact, patient is recovered.No additional event or patient information is available.No product or data was provided for investigation.The reported issue could not be confirmed.The root cause could not be determined.
