Event Description
It was reported that the patient's infusion site was red, stiff, and swollen upon removing the cannula of the infusion set.There was abscess in the cannula insertion site area and the patient experienced elevated blood glucose levels.The patient went to the emergency room and received antibiotic treatment amoxicillin clavulanic 500mg for 15 days.The patient was in the emergency room for 1 hour.The infusion set was requested to be returned for product evaluation.
