Event Description

The field service representative (fsr) reported that during preventive maintenance (pm) of the device, the heater cooler was displaying an inaccurate cardioplegia (cpg) water temperature, at 50.There was no patient involvement.

The reported complaint was confirmed.During laboratory analysis, the product surveillance technician (pst) measured the temperature sensor and found it to be electrically open.If additional information becomes available on this complaint that would alter the facts and/or conclusion, a supplemental report will be filed accordingly.
