Event Description
According to the reporter: during a robotic laparoscopic right inguinal hernia procedure, during mesh deployment, the mesh tore at the seam. The appearance of the mesh was normal but a hole was in the seam. The mesh was damaged. The size of the defect was small. The mesh was used. The wound was closed with suture.
