Event Description
|
It was reported that on (b)(6), the patient presented with angina and was diagnosed with a myocardial infarction.A 3.5 x 18 mm xience alpine stent was implanted in the left anterior descending artery.Eighteen days later, on (b)(6), the patient began experiencing a sharp chest pain.Magnetic resonance imaging (mri) scan was performed that same day.The technician warned the patient that the stent could have migrated from its implanted site during her mri scan even though her stent card states that this is not possible.The patient will follow-up with a cardiologist for diagnostics to determine the status of the stent.No additional information was provided.

The patient presented with thrombosis in the left anterior descending artery (lad) from a fall; therefore, on (b)(6) 2017, a 3.5 x 18 mm xience alpine stent was implanted in the lad.Eighteen days later, on (b)(6) 2017, the patient had a magnetic resonance imaging (mri) scan done for her spinal stenosis condition.However, after the scan, the patient began experiencing an ongoing sharp chest pain.The technician warned the patient that the stent could have migrated from its implanted site during her mri scan even though her stent card states that this is not possible.No additional information was provided.
