Event Description
|
It was reported that during a surgery while the surgeon attempted to start the device, the connection screen lasted for more than one minute.An error message was displayed on the screen and the device powered down.The field service engineer shutdown the robot stand, and unplugged it.The device was powered off for a full minute before attempting to reconnect.Once restarted no more issue was observed and the case was successfully completed.Post-operatively, the field service engineer was checking the device controller status and the same communication failure occurred.

Following the investigation performed by reviewing the data log files from the subject event, on this occasion the root cause for the reported device shutdown cannot be determined.
