(b)(4).Complaint sample was evaluated and the reported event was not confirmed.The product evaluation stated, "upon review of the packaging, the 01-97-6015a tyvek pouch, which is responsible for keeping the product sterile, showed evidence of a fully intact seal due to seal transfer marks across the pouch.Due to the fact that the tyvek pouch showed evidence of a full and complete seal, it is likely that the tyvek pouch was opened up in a severe distribution sequence, or some time after leaving zimmer biomet." dhr was reviewed and no discrepancies were found.Review of the complaint history determined that no further action is required as no were trends identified.Investigation results concluded that the reported event was due to transit damage.If any further information is found which would change or alter any conclusions or information, a supplemental will be filed accordingly.Zimmer biomet will continue to monitor for trends.This report is being submitted late as it has been identified in remediation.
