Event or Problem Description
The customer reported via phone call that the insulin pump received compromised force sensor system alert.The customer¿s blood glucose level at the time of incident was 240 mg/dl.The customer was advised that the device would be replaced and agreed to return the insulin pump for analysis.
Additional Manufacturer Narrative
Unit was received with compromised force sensor system alarm during the basic occlusion test due to loose/protruded drive support disk.Unable to perform operating basic occlusion test, occlusion test, prime/compromised force sensor system test, excessive no delivery test due to compromised force sensor system alarm.Unit had severely scratched lcd window, cracked battery tube threads, cracked reservoir tube lip, stained address/serial number label, stained keypad overlay and stained end cap sticker.
