Event Description
|
The customer reported via phone call the sensor had inaccurate readings that triggered threshold suspend alarm.The customer¿s blood glucose was 220 mg/dl and the sensor glucose was 60 mg/dl at the time of the incident.Customer stated sensor was curved.Sensor glucose value that triggered the suspend event was 60 mg/dl.Suspend on low limit in sensor settings was 80 mg/dl.The customer stated that customer sensor reading were low and threshold was suspending.The sensor will be returned for analysis.

Inspected one opened and used sensor and performed continuity resistance test and sensor passed per specifications.Performed bicarbonate buffer test and sensor passed per specifications.Found cannula bent unable to confirm customer received sensor in said condition due to customer return sensor opened and used.
