A site representative reported that, while in a cranial resection, the navigation system displayed that the localizer was not connected after unplugging a microscope.Restarting the navigation system temporarily restored functionality, however the error reappeared.Further investigation found that the ethernet connections within the navigation system were loose and after tightening the system functioned as designed.There was no reported delay to the procedure due to this issue.There was no impact on patient outcome.No additional information was provided.
