Event Description
|
The customer reported via phone call that they had blank display.The customer¿s current blood glucose level was 390 mg/dl at time of incident.The customer stated that the insulin pump was getting low battery and the insulin pump stopped working.They replaced the battery, but also had a blank screen.The troubleshooting was performed and was advised to insert a new battery.Customer stated that the display did not return.The customer was advised to discontinue use of the pump and revert to backup plan per health care professional.The customer was advised that pump will need to be replaced.The insulin pump will be returned for analysis.

Pump received with blank display, problem isolated to interface board.Unable to confirm low battery alert and unable to perform any tests due to blank display.Pump received with cracked reservoir tube lip, cracked case near display window corners, cracked on display window and minor scratches on display window noted.
