Event Description
A medtronic representative reported that while outside of a procedure, during site training, the camera on the navigation system cycled multiple times and gave a "localizer not connected" error.The representative confirmed that the external camera cable was not pinched or lagged.The ndi tool configuration did not show errors for the polaris spectra system control unit (scu) or positioning sensor unit (psu).The camera had been replaced previously and the issue is occurring intermittently.

A medtronic representative went to the site to test the equipment.The representative was unable to replicate the reported issue.The hardware, software, and instruments passed the system checkout.The system was found to be fully functional.
