No patient information provided as no patient was involved in this concern.A medtronic representative went to site to test the equipment.Representative was able to replicate the reported issue with multiple patient exams and confirmed that other system were functioning without issue.No information regarding resolution has been provided.No parts were replaced.No parts have been received by the manufacturer for evaluation.
 
Event Description
A medtronic representative reported that while outside of procedure, the navigation system would intermittently become unresponsive and had to be rebooted manually.Uninstalling and reinstalling the software did not resolve the issue.There was no patient present at the time of the issue.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
Correction: device manufacture date updated to proper value.While testing the navigation system, it was reported that the computer for the navigation system was replaced.The computer for the navigation system was returned to the manufacturer for analysis.The device was found to be fully functional with no problem found.The reported event could not be duplicated by medtronic personnel.
