It was reported that a (b)(6) male underwent an elective left total knee replacement procedure on (b)(6) 2018 and topical skin adhesive was used.Five days postoperatively the patient developed some slight erythema around the wound with itching.The topical skin adhesive was removed on postoperative day eight by the physical therapist and was seen by pa on postoperative day nine.The patient was prescribed zantac, benadryl, zyrtec and triamcinolone cream.The patient was also prescribed keflex.They put steri-strips and benzoin on the wound to keep it approximated and limited the patients motion.Additional information has been requested.
