Information was received from a consumer regarding a patient with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for gastrointestinal/pelvic floor issues. It was reported that the current implant had not helped much at all since it was put in.It was noted that the patient had lupus, blacked out, and had a lot of falls that started ¿years ago¿.The doctor told the patient that this newest one would help, but it had not helped either and the patient was still on the feeding tube.It was noted that the patient had always had migraines, but 4-5 months ago, they started getting twice as bad and then the patient started having seizures 3 or 4 months ago.It was noted that a fall could be related to the issue. No further complications were reported/anticipated.
