Event Description
Information was received from a device manufacturer representative regarding a patient who was receiving morphine (10 mg/ml at 1.897 mg/day) via an implantable infusion pump for non-malignant pain.It was reported that the patient had not been feeling well since (b)(6) 2018.A motor stall occurred, which was active at the time of the initial report.A motor stall was noted in the attention dialogue box and pump logs. The patient was not hearing audible alarms and when the healthcare provider (hcp) refilled the pump on (b)(6) 2018, there was a notable volume discrepancy. It was unknown if the patient had an mri in (b)(6) 2018.Specifically, the event date was noted to be (b)(6) 2018.They planned to read the pump logs again and find out for certain whether or not the patient had an mri in (b)(6) 2018.It was further reported that it was confirmed that the pump was in a "telemetry state" and a recovery was noted on (b)(6) 2018.The issue was resolved. No further complications were reported.
