Event or Problem Description
The customer reported via phone call that the insulin pump had a blank display as insulin pump was not working.The customer¿s blood glucose level 88mg/dl at the time of the incident.Customer also stated that the pump was not expose to moisture.The customer was assisted with troubleshooting and the display did not return.The insulin pump will be returned for analysis.
Additional Manufacturer Narrative
Pump received with blank display due to corroded battery tube spring contact and corroded battery tube.Unable to perform all functional testing including the operating currents, a21 error test, rewind, basic occlusion, occlusion, prime/a33 and excessive no delivery test or verify unexpected battery power loss anomaly due to blank display.
