Event Description
On 2018-june-14, information was received from a patient receiving an unknown drug (unknown dose and concentration) via an implantable pump for non-malignant pain.In (b)(6) 2018, the patient reported seeing a call your doctor message when trying to use the personal therapy manager (ptm). The patient did not remember the specific code. The patient sated that it showed a pump with a low reservoir with a black syringe next to it.The patient rebooted the ptm and then it was fine.Additional information was received from a device manufacturer representative on (b)(6) 2018.The pump was infusing dilaudid (10 mg/ml at 3 mg dose), baclofen (160 mcg dose), and bupivacaine (6 mg dose). It was reported that the low reservoir alarm was confirmed. The alarm occurred approximately three weeks prior to (b)(6) 2018.The patient did not follow up with the clinic, which was the cause of low reservoir. No further complications were reported.
