Additional Manufacturer Narrative
|
|
Currently it is unknown if and to what extent the bard/davol device may have contributed to the patient's adverse outcome. As the patient had a prior medical history of kidney stones, it is unclear if the reported urinary problems are associated with the bard/davol mesh or if this is the outcome of the kidney stones. No sample was returned for evaluation and medical records provided have been limited to the implant operative report and implant tracking log.A review of the manufacturing records was performed and found that the lot was manufactured to specification.Based on the limited information provided no conclusions can be made between the reported post-operative complications and the bard/davol device used to treat the patient.Should additional information be provided, a supplemental emdr will be submitted. The information provided by bard represents all of the known information at this time.Despite good faith efforts to obtain additional information, the complainant / reporter was unable or unwilling to provide any further patient, product, or procedural details to bard. Not returned.
