Event Description
It was reported that the cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) exhibited premature battery depletion.It was suspected the premature depletion was due to a high threshold on the left ventricular (lv) lead.The lv lead was explanted and replaced with the crt-d.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.

Product event summary: the lead was not returned for analysis, however, performance data collected from the device was received and analyzed.Analysis of the device memory was performed and no anomalies were found.If information is provided in the future, a supplemental report will be issued.
