It was reported that the procedure was to treat a moderately calcified left anterior descending artery.A 190 cm turntrac guide wire was used along with an unspecified non-abbott balloon dilatation catheter, which was inflated at 30 atmospheres. However, resistance was noted between the devices during advancement and removal. Therefore, the guide wire was removed independently and another unspecified turntrac guide wire was used to successfully complete the procedure. There were no adverse patient effects and no clinically significant delay in the procedure. No additional information was provided.
