Event or Problem Description
The customer reported via phone call that the act button was not working and time was not advancing on the insulin pump.The customer¿s blood glucose level was 134 mg/dl at the time of the incident.Customer was advised to observe time clock for one minute to verify if time advances and they stated that the no time advanced.The customer was advised to discontinue use of the insulin pump and to revert to the back-up plan.The insulin pump will be returned for analysis.
Additional Manufacturer Narrative
Insulin pump received with intermittent button response due to flattened button dome switch and partial unlocked keypad connector noted during visual inspect.Unable to perform all functional testing including the displacement, operating currents, rewind, basic occlusion, occlusion, prime and excessive no delivery test due to buttons not responding.No frozen display anomaly noted.
