The patient was implanted with a bifurcated stent grafts and a non - endologix cuff (endurant) to treat an abdominal aortic aneurysm (aaa). This case is considered off - label due to the use of the non- endoleak stent.Eight (8) days post implant, the patient aorta ruptured around the non - endologix cuff (endurant). An emergency operation was performed but the patient expired. The exact cause of death is unknown however it was reported by the physician that the possible cause could be dissection around the non - endologix cuff (endurant) causing the rupture.
