Event Description
|
The customer reported via phone call that the insulin pump had keypad anomaly and replace battery alert.The customer¿s blood glucose level was 209 mg/dl.The customer reported that the replace battery alert with no low battery alert.The customer reported that the second occurrence of replace battery alert without a low battery warning.It was reported that they had unexpected battery power loss and inserted a new battery and now pump will not turn on.The customer reported that they were pressing the buttons and nothing was happened.The customer reported that they changed the battery and buttons were responding.The customer was advised that they may continue to wear pump until replacement arrives if they insert a new battery.The customer was advised the pump will need to be replaced.The insulin pump will be returned for analysis.
