Event or Problem Description
Medtronic received information that immediately following implant of this 26mm mitral annuloplasty band, it was explanted and replaced with a 31mm non-medtronic bioprosthetic valve.The reason for explant is unknown.No additional adverse patient effects were reported. .

Medtronic received additional information that the band was explanted due to residual regurgitation.The patient had "deformed" mitral valve anatomy that was not compatible with repair via band.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.If information is provided in the future, a supplemental report will be issued.
