Event or Problem Description
The patient was undergoing a coil embolization procedure in the left gastric artery using ruby coils.During the procedure, the physician experienced resistance and was unable to advance the ruby coil from its initial position in the introducer sheath and, therefore, the ruby coil was removed.The procedure was completed using additional ruby coils.There was no report of adverse effect to the patient.
