Event Description
It was reported that balloon hole occurred.The target lesion was located in the left iliac vein.A 18-6/5.8/75mm xxl esophageal balloon catheter was advanced to post-dilate a wallstent endoprosthesis.However, during the first inflation at 3 atmospheres, it was noted that the stent punctured a hole on the balloon.The device was pulled out normally with no resistance and post-dilatation was performed with another of the same device.The wallstent was successfully implanted and the procedure was completed.No patient complications were reported and the patient's status was fine.
