|
It was reported that a patient presented remotely via merlin.Net transmission.Upon review, the insertable cardiac monitor had an alert for device reset.A complete device interrogation was not possible in that condition.The device was attempted with maintenance; however, this resulted in an alert for hardware damage.Device replacement was discussed.

The reported error message and unable to interrogate were confirmed.The device could not communicate when received indicating a reset error.After reloading product code, reset error was reproduced.Further testing indicated memory corruption caused reset error.
