Event Description
Information was received from a healthcare professional (hcp) via a manufacturer¿s representative (rep) regarding the patient¿s implantable drug infusion device.The drugs being delivered were 2,000 mcg/ml lioresal at 1,200 mcg/day flex.The reason for use was not reported.It was reported that the there was premature battery depletion.It started alarming on (b)(6) 2019 with eri (elective replacement in dicator).The device was implanted in november of 2015.There were no reported environmental/external/patient factors that may have led or contributed to the issue.No diagnostic troubleshooting was performed.Interventions/actions that were taken to resolve the issue included elective replacement planned for (b)(6) 2019.The issue was not resolved at the time of the report.There were no further complications reported/anticipated.
