|
The patient¿s attorney alleged a deficiency against the device.The product was used for therapeutic treatment of a bilateral inguinal hernia and umbilical hernia.It was reported that after implant, the patient experienced extensive adhesions between small bowel and mesh, chronic drainage, abscess, colocutaneous fistula, and rectosigmoid inflammation.Post-operative patient treatment included bowel resection and mesh removal.
