It was reported that the sixty-cycle electromagnetic interference (emi) on the analyzer was "bringing in so much noise that the analyzer was useless;" attempting with three different programmers and cables, as well as plugging them into a different outlet in the room, did not resolve the issue.It was noted that a construction project was occurring at the hospital, and that the issue was due to an alternating current (ac) power-induced emi.The analyzer remains in use.There was no patient involvement.
