Event Description
Information was received from a healthcare provider (hcp) via a clinical study on (b)(6) 2019 regarding a patient receiving morphine and bupivacaine (both at 2.5mg/ml and 0.3696mg/day) via an implanted infusion pump.The indications for use included non-malignant pain and failed back surgery syndrome.It was reported that a macular rash was identified around the pump pocket site on (b)(6) 2018.No action was taken and the event resulted in in-patient hospitalization and an unscheduled clinic or office visit.The event was unresolved with no further action planned.The etiology indicated the event was unlikely related to the device or therapy and was possibly related to the implant procedure.No further complications were reported or anticipated.
