Event Description
The patient¿s attorney alleged a deficiency against the device.The product was used for therapeutic laparoscopic treatment of a hernia.It was reported that after implant, the patient experienced mesh contracted and pulled away from the fascial edge, extensive adhesions, and small serosal tear/enterotomy repaired with suture.Post-operative patient treatment included revision surgery.The device had been used with endotak.
