Event Description
|
The patient¿s attorney alleged a deficiency against the device.The product was used for therapeutic treatment of a hernia.It was reported that after implant, the patient experienced severe pain, kinked small bowel with obstruction, bowel attached to mesh, adhesions, suture granuloma, infection, and foreign body reaction.Post-operative treatment included small bowel resection, lysis of adhesions, small bowel enterotomy, and mesh removal.
