Event or Problem Description
It was reported that the insulin pump had a blank display.The customer¿s blood glucose level was unknown.Customer stated that the battery contacts cap and compartment were not damaged, missing or corroded.The display did not return on inserting new battery.The customer was advised that the insulin pump needed to be replaced and was advised to discontinue use of the insulin pump and to revert to the backup plan.The device will be returned for analysis.

Device power up properly after battery installation.Device received with operating currents within specs.No unexpected low battery alarms were noted during testing.Device passed displacement test and self test, off no power test.
