It was reported that the device became stuck on the wire.A 1.85mm jetstream atherectomy catheter was selected use for an atherectomy procedure in the superficial femoral artery (sfa).During the procedure, the jetstream catheter was advanced over a jetwire guidewire to 100% stenosed, minimally tortuous and less than 50% calcified target lesion.The catheter could not cross over the tightly calcified lesion.Then, the jetstream device became stuck in the wire.The catheter and the wire were removed together from the patient then the jetstream catheter came out freely.The procedure was completed with angioplasty balloon and stent.There were no patient complications reported and the patient's status was fine post procedure.
