Event or Problem Description
|
|
It was reported that the patient¿s right ventricular (rv) lead triggered a lead integrity alert (lia) for elevated sensing integrity counter (sic) and high rate non-sustained episodes.Additionally, the rv lead triggered a noise alert for oversensing-noise episodes.A laser extraction was attempted; however, the helix would not retract, so the rv lead was cut and capped in the pocket. Two days later the rv lead was explanted and replaced. No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
