Information was received from a healthcare provider regarding a patient who was receiving morphine at an unknown concentration and dosage via an implantable pump for spinal pain.It was reported the patient was at the hospital with symptoms of shaking, an inability to sleep, and swelling of the feet with normal vital signs.The patient's pump was replaced on (b)(6) 2019 and the patient had been "very sick/ill" since then.According to the hcp, the patient believed that their intrathecal dose was also adjusted on (b)(6) 2019.The hcp inquired about the pump status, but did not have a programmer to confirm the status. there were no device issues reported, and no further patient complications are anticipated or expected as a result of this event.
