Event Description
Information was received from a health care professional (hcp) regarding a patient receiving clonidine (200 mcg/ml at unknown dose), baclofen (100 mcg/ml at unknown dose) and dilaudid (30 mg/ml at unknown dose) via an implantable infusion pump.It was reported that the patient's pump had been repositioned prior to (b)(6) 2018 due to the pump flipping. The patient then had significant pain at her incision site after surgery and she woke up feeling like the pump was "being pushed out." she had also developed a rash. The patient presented to the office again on (b)(6) 2018 and the pump appeared to be flipping again. It was repositioned again and at an office visit on (b)(6) 2018 the wound had healed well.An office visit on (b)(6) 2018 indicated that the pump was yet again mobile and they noted that "this was the third time we have address this issue. This is a big concern." no further complications were reported.
