Event or Problem Description
The patient was undergoing a coil embolization procedure using a ruby coil.During the procedure, the ruby coil would not advance at all within its introducer sheath; therefore, it was removed.The procedure was completed using a non-penumbra coil.There was no report of an adverse effect to the patient.
