Event Description
Information was received by a manufacture representative (rep) regarding a patient with an implantable neurostimulator (ins).It was reported that during operation, connections were checked and all showed good connection.Impedances were checked and were also within normal range.However, the rep ran another impedance check in post-operation as they were programming the patient and it showed that electrodes 2 and 5 were 40,000 ohms and showed ¿do not use¿.The rep ran a connection check and this showed that 2 and 5 were not connected.There was no contributing factors reported.The rep indicated that they would run an impedance check again at the patient¿s post operation appointment to see if there had been any improvements.The rep programmed around the affected electrodes.No further complications were reported/anticipated.

Additional information was received from a manufacturer representative regarding the patient.It was reported that it was unknown if the high impedances had resolved.There were no patient symptoms or complications reported.
